"I am a mother that loves rest,
but my children love chaos. They rarely stay still long enough to avoid hurting themselves, and most days feel like a whirlwind of movement, noise, laughter, tears, and endless energy.
I can’t always keep up. I need small and large moments of rest and recharge just to feel somewhat human again. Usually, those moments happen while my little “fairy children” are still bouncing off the walls when daddy isn’t around - my oldest dancing wildly on the bed while my youngest curls into me for cuddles, wriggling non-stop.
Our neurodiverse home is loud, messy, magical, and unpredictable. If you leave something here, there’s a good chance it won’t be returned in the same condition. It can be overwhelming and exhausting, but it is also filled with joy, imagination, tenderness, and love.
This is our chaos. This is our magic. And despite the challenges, I am deeply proud of the home and family we have created."
